2026 UMGPS Supplementary Fund

Good news! Applications for the first round of the August 2026 UMGPS Supplementary Fund are now open!

This funding opportunity is available to ratified clubs and Departmental Graduate Student Associations (DGSAs). Ratified clubs and DGSAs are listed on the UMGPS website and/or will have previously received confirmation of their ratification status.

A total of $2,500 is available in this first round of supplementary funding. Two additional funding rounds will also be available later this academic year.

Please read the application requirements and terms and conditions carefully before submitting. Priority funding will be given to DGSAs and clubs whose membership is more than 50% graduate students.

Please note that approved funding will only be issued to official club or department accounts. UMGPS will not issue funding to personal bank accounts.

Submitting an application does not guarantee that your club or DGSA will receive funding, either in full or in part.

This funding opportunity is a great way to support eligible events, initiatives, and activities that benefit University of Manitoba graduate students.
